Review : Tight, accurate bass. Superb.
I replaced an aging 10" JL audio W04 with this sub in a sealed box, and it rocks more than I expected it to. I'm only pushing it with 100W RMS (via an old Clarion ProAudio 5-channel amp), and it sounds fantastic. The build quality is superb, the magnet sizable, and the terminals are the quality nickel-plated barrel spring loaded type usually associated with high-end audio. This sub is most certainly a win. The bass is very tight, as is expected with a sealed box, but if you sit in the back seat it will shake your eyeballs. I listen to mostly electro-house and rock, so I'm more into tight basslines than boomy hip-hop, and this MTX certainly delivers.
